Mr Deji Aboderin, who happened to be the candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) for the Ibadan Southeast/Northeast Federal House of Representatives in Oyo state during the 2019 general election has now defected to the ruling People Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo state.

It is instructive to note that Mr Aboderin, served as the Senior Special Assistant on Public Affairs to former Governor Abiola Ajimobi. and he is Known to be a loyalist to the then Oyo state government.

Citing reasons for his defection, he accused the leadership of the All Progressive Congress in the state of dishonesty, citing many cases where party leadership worked against his electoral victory in the last election.
