NEWS: Ifeanyi ubah and Stella oduah wins senatorial seats in anambra state [New Politics] » Naijacrawl

The candidates of young progressive party YPP Dr ifeanyi ubah and peoples Democratic party Senator Stella Oduah have both secured thier senatorial seats in the final results just released by the independent national electoral commission for thier respective senatorial zone.

Dr ifeanyi ubah won anambra south senatorial district defeating his rivals Dr Chris ubah of the peoples Democratic party, Dr Nicholas ukachukwu of the all progressive grand alliance apga and the incumbent senator Dr Andy ubah of the all progressive Congress APC. Dr ifeanyi ubah polled a total of 87,081 votes while his closest rival Dr Chris ubah of PDP polled a total 62,462 votes.

The serving senator Stella oduah also secured her seat in anambra north senatorial zone with 113,989 votes defeating her closest rival Dr chinedu emeka of apga who polled 59,937 votes.
