Alexis Sanchez is scheduled to sign a free agent contract with Marseille.

After his contract with Inter Milan was terminated this summer, the Chilean is currently without a club.

However, Sanchez might be playing in Ligue 1 the following season.

Fabrizio Romano, a transfer expert, revealed this on Thursday morning.

"Alexis Sanchez's contract with Inter will be terminated as agreed and will be signed soon," Romano tweeted. "Olympique Marseille will be in direct contact with Alexis Sanchez's agents in the coming days."

In 2020, Sanchez moved from Manchester United to Inter on a free transfer.

In 108 games, the 33-year-old has only 20 goals and 23 assists.
