Mateo Kovacic will not play for Chelsea against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday, according to manager Thomas Tuchel.

Kovacic's knee injury will prevent him from playing against Tottenham in the Premier League, according to Tuchel.

This was stated by the German on Friday before the game.

Chelsea enters the contest after defeating Everton 1-0 in their previous match.
