Despite spending about £600 million over the last two transfer windows, Chelsea has not yet addressed their striker position, according to Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher.

Following Friday's Premier League match at Stamford Bridge, in which Chelsea and Fulham drew 0-0, Carragher made this statement.

Remember that Chelsea spent an additional £320 million in the recently closed January transfer window on top of the players they signed in the summer, bringing the total amount spent by co-owner Todd Boehly since he acquired the west London club last summer to an astounding £566 million.

Enzo Fernandez, who cost a record-breaking £107 million to acquire, Mykhailo Mudryk, and Benoit Badiashile were three of the newcomers who started for Graham Potter's team against Fulham on Friday.

In his post-game interview with Sky Sports, Carragher said: "The thing that leaves you scratching your head a little bit is they have not brought a striker in; they have spent 5 or 600 million."
