Chelsea’s James breaks silence amid claims he could miss World Cup
Chelsea defender Reece James has broken his silence amid claims that he could miss the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar due to injury.
James took to his Twitter account to let fans know that he is desperate to recover in time to make it to next month’s World Cup.
The England international tweeted at the weekend: “The race against time is on... But we won’t give up.

He had to be replaced by captain Cesar Azpilicueta in the 62nd minute, but after scans, the injury now seems more serious than initially thought.
