Arsenal have suffered a major transfer blow in their pursuit of West Ham captain Declan Rice.
As reported by Sky Sports on Thursday, Arsenal rejected Arsenal’s opening offer of £80 million plus add ons for Rice’s signature.
The Gunners will now have to step up their bid to sign the England international this summer.
Rice is keen to leave West Ham United this summer transfer window after leading the Hammers to the UEFA Europa Conference League title last week.
The midfielder has been linked with Arsenal, Chelsea, Man United and Bayern Munich.
