Thibaut Courtois of Real Madrid is currently regarded as the best goalkeeper in the world, according to former Germany international Roman Weidenfeller.

Weidenfeller noted that Courtois has extensive experience and mentioned the fact that the Belgian international won the UEFA Champions League with Real Madrid the previous year.

Since his 2018 transfer from Chelsea to Real Madrid, Courtois has been in commanding form.

At the Santiago Bernabeu, the 30-year-old succeeded the seasoned Keylor Navas and has since been the undisputed No. 1 for Los Blancos.

Weidenfeller responded to KhelNow's query regarding the top goalkeeper in the world as follows:

“I think Thibaut Courtois is at Real Madrid right now.
“He has a lot of experience and plays for a big club like Real Madrid, and he also won the UEFA Champions League last season.”
