Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has declared Pep Guardiola the best manager in Premier League history.
Guardiola, who has clinched six titles in the last seven years, arrived in England in 2016 and faced a tough debut season.
However, the former Bayern Munich manager has since dominated, securing the league title every year except the 2019/2020 season when Liverpool triumphed.
Speaking on the latest Stick to Football podcast, Carragher stated: “I’d put Pep Guardiola at the top of Premier League history. Ferguson, on the other hand, took seven years to win his first title.”
Carragher's bold assertion highlights Guardiola's remarkable impact and enduring success in English football, sparking discussions among fans and pundits alike.
