Martin Braithwaite, a former Barcelona striker, contends that Ousmane Dembele is more gifted than Robert Lewandowski.

Dembele alters the course of games, according to Braithwaite, who controversially switched from Barcelona to rival Espanyol this summer.

Remember how impressive Dembele was when Barcelona thrashed Viktoria Plzen 5-1 in the Champions League midweek? Lewandowski's hat-trick garnered most of the attention.

But Braithwaite believes that serial assister Dembele has huge talent, adding that he has never seen anything like it.

Speaking to RAC1, the 31-year-old Danish star said, “He [Dembele] makes the difference more than Lewandowski.”

“Ousmane is a very good kid. I like him a lot. He has enormous talent. I have never seen anything like it. Messi is something else, but I have never seen anyone like Ousmane.”
