Former Premier League star Gary Neville claims Rasmus Hojlund, Andre Onana, and Mason Mount were not better additions to Manchester United during the summer transfer window.
He told Sky Sports that the additions of Hojlund, Onana, and Mount had not improved Manchester United.
According to him, Manchester United’s performance has been worrisome since the arrival of the trio.
The former England defender emphasized that the Red Devils would have a difficult time competing with teams like Arsenal, Chelsea, and Liverpool because they are far behind their city rivals, Manchester City.
“They’re nowhere near Manchester City; that’s a fact.
“What we would’ve wanted is to get closer to Arsenal and make sure we stay above Chelsea and Liverpool.
“That’s the issue at the moment: Liverpool and Chelsea, and the other clubs, Newcastle and Aston Villa—are we as strong as them?
“I’m a little more worried than I was a few weeks ago, but I never bought into this idea that we were better.”
