Manchester United has confirmed that both Lisandro Martinez and Victor Lindelof have been injured ahead of Thursday's Premier League match against Chelsea.
The club made this announcement in an official statement on Tuesday.
According to the statement, Manchester United's center-backs, Lindelof and Martinez, will be sidelined for at least a month due to muscle injuries.
Lindelof, who is the captain of Sweden, suffered a hamstring problem and had to be substituted during last Saturday's Premier League game against Brentford.
Martinez, who made his first appearance since early February, replaced Lindelof during the match but has now sustained a calf strain in training and will also be unavailable for the upcoming games.
This news comes as a blow to Manchester United as they prepare to face Chelsea in a crucial Premier League encounter.
