The Nigeria National League (NNL) is proud of its clubs' performances in the 2024 state Federation Cup.
NNL teams showed remarkable progress, with more of them advancing to the final rounds.
In Lagos State, Inter Lagos defeated the Nigeria Premier Football League's Sporting Lagos 2-0 in the semi-finals, while Ikorodu City overcame First Bank FC with a 3-0 win. Both Inter Lagos and Ikorodu City will compete in the final.
In Abuja, EFCC FC and Sporting Supreme, both NNL teams, will face off in the final. FC Rocket qualified for the Akwa Ibom State final, where they will play against NPFL's Akwa United.
Warri Wolves, Coal City, Cynosure, and Ekiti United also secured spots in the finals of Delta, Enugu, Ebonyi, and Ekiti States, respectively. Edel FC and Solutions FC will compete in the Anambra State final.
In Ogun State, Beyond Limits will play against Stormers SC, both NNL teams. Nasarawa United, Osun United, and ABS also reached the finals in Ogun, Osun, Kwara, and Nasarawa States, respectively.
NNL chairman George Aluo praised the clubs' administrators for their success, emphasizing the league's growing reputation. He highlighted the significant presence of NNL clubs in several state finals, demonstrating the league's progress.
The finals will take place from March 29th to March 31st, 2024, nationwide.
