The Nigeria National League (NNL) has confirmed that the 2024-25 season will resume on Saturday, January 4, 2025, following its brief Christmas and New Year break.
The league, which took a pause after three thrilling weeks of action, is gearing up for its return. NNL Chairman, George Aluo, assured fans and stakeholders that the competition would maintain its high standards and crown a deserving champion at the end of the season.
“We are committed to upholding the best standards in the league and ensuring a worthy champion emerges,” Aluo shared with the NNL media team.
Current Standings at the Break
- Conference A: Abia Comets lead with 7 points.
- Conference B: Kun-Khalifat, the league’s debutants, stunned fans with three consecutive wins, securing the top spot.
- Conference C: Wikki Tourists dominate with 7 points.
- Conference D: Basira FC is ahead of the pack.
