Victor Osimhen, a forward for Napoli, scored on his injury comeback as the Partenopei defeated Ajax 4-2 to advance to the knockout round of the UEFA Champions League.
Osimhen has been out since suffering an injury on September 9 during Napoli's matchday one match against Liverpool.
At the 50-minute mark, the international player from Nigeria replaced Giacomo Raspadori.
Osimhen scored Napoli's fourth goal of the match in the 89th minute as the score stood at 3-2 and Ajax looked to mount a comeback.
For Luciano Spalletti's team, it was the striker's first-ever Champions League goal.
In six appearances for Napoli this season across all competitions, he has now scored three goals.
Calvin Bassey, a fellow countryman, also participated in the match for Ajax.
In the 66th minute, Bassey received a caution.
