When Leicester City plays Tottenham Hotspur this weekend, Kelechi Iheanacho insists that they will make an effort to snap their losing streak in the Premier League this season.
On Saturday night, Brendan Rodgers' squad will travel to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in an effort to restart their season.
The Foxes are still looking for their first victory of the season and are at the bottom of the log.
Losing to Antonio Conte's team could be the end for Rodgers, who is under a lot of pressure after the team's dismal campaign opener.
But Iheanacho believes the former Premier League champions can turn things around with a win in London.
”It would be massive – so, so massive for the club and for everyone involved,” Iheanacho told LCTV.
“A win would give us the momentum to go forward this season." We need to defend as a team, attack as a team and just work hard as a team.
'We have been preparing very, very hard for this and hopefully it will turn around this weekend. Training has been going quite well. The message has always been that we stick together whether we lose or win, but right now we need to show character, hunger, and desire.
“As players and as a team, we know we can get the results we need. We showed that last season." So far this season, it’s just turned out the other way. We have great quality in this team, so we just need to believe in ourselves and get the points to get us back up there this season. "
