Roma defender, Rick Karsdorp has decided to snub training following a bust-up with Jose Mourinho.
Mourinho had criticized Karsdorp’s attitude after their 1-1 draw with Sassuolo earlier this month.
The former Chelsea and Manchester United manager refused to name Karsdorp at the time.
But Mourinho claimed “the efforts of the team were betrayed by the attitude of one unprofessional player.”
Mourinho also made it clear that he wants the Serie A side to offload Karsdorp in the January transfer window.
Roma’s players who are not at the 2022 World Cup are due to travel to Japan for a winter training camp, but Karsdorp was not at training on Sunday.
It is believed the player has already traveled back to the Netherlands with his family.
Karsdorp was signed by Roma in a €19 million deal in 2017.
