Christian Eriksen, a midfielder for Manchester United, has continued to shine for Denmark as the fan favorite created more chances in a single game than any other player in the UEFA Nations League this year.
The Danes finished second in League A Group 1 after defeating the defending World Cup champions, France, 2-0 on Sunday night in Copenhagen.
Although Eriksen had no direct involvement in either of the goals scored by Kasper Dolberg or Andreas Skov Olsen, the masterfully controlled the game's pace and established a Nations League record in the process.
Eriksen also gave his teammates eight opportunities to score, which was the most opportunities created in a single game by any competitor in 2022.
The Dane will hope to carry his form into Sunday's eagerly awaited Manchester derby at the Etihad Stadium as he returns to Manchester ahead of the start of Premier League action.
