Steve Nicol believes Christian Pulisic has given Graham Potter'something to think about’ after helping Chelsea beat Wolves.
The Blues clinched their third successive win under Potter after beating a lacklustre Wolves 3-0 at Stamford Bridge.
At half-time, Kai Havertz, playing up front in place of the rested Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, put the hosts in front.
Ten minutes after the break, USA international Pulisic marked only his second league start of the season with his first goal since May.
Armando Broja netted his first Chelsea goal late on as the Blues continued their impressive form under Potter and piled more misery on Wolves, who remain in the relegation zone.
Former Liverpool defender Nicol was impressed by Chelsea’s win over Wolves and believes Pulisic sent a message to his manager with his performance.
Nicol told ESPN that it’s difficult to put your finger on the changes Graham Potter has made [since Thomas Tuchel’s sacking], but it’s probably that every Chelsea player has a little skip in their step.
