Sunday Oliseh names one player that has caused Liverpool’s problems
Nigerian ex-international Sunday Oliseh has provided his own opinion on why Liverpool are struggling this season.
According to him, letting Sadio Mane leave for Bayern Munich has been a major problem for the club
Liverpool have not been the same team since the departure of the Senegalese, who helped them to second place in the Premier League last season.
Jurgen Klopp’s side has since crashed out of the Champions League, FA Cup, and Carabao Cup.
The Reds are 12 points adrift of a Champions League place.
“Mané was instrumental in every aspect of Liverpool’s success since day one in 2015,” Oliseh said on SundayOlisehtv.
“Liverpool has struggled in all departments, and I am totally convinced that if this 2022 World’s Best Player Runner Up had still been at Liverpool and healthy, Liverpool would be singing a different song now,” he said.
