Eric Chelle, recently unveiled by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) in Abuja, is gearing up for a crucial European tour next week to engage with senior Super Eagles players, DAILY POST reports.
Before embarking on the trip, the 47-year-old tactician will spend time with the home-based Super Eagles squad as they prepare for the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN).
Chelle’s first stop will be in France, where he will meet Nantes winger Moses Simon. He will then head to Turkey to visit star striker Victor Osimhen before continuing his journey to connect with other top Super Eagles players in England and Germany.
The former Mali international defender is expected to return to Nigeria before the end of the month to finalize preparations for CHAN 2024. As part of his role, Chelle will accompany the Home Eagles to the tournament, where he will provide supervisory support.
