The friendly matchup between the Super Eagles and Portugal is something that Super Eagles head coach Jose Peseiro is looking forward to.
The next friendly matchup between the three-time African champions and Portugal will take place on November 17 in Lisbon.
Tuesday night in Oran, the Super Eagles were defeated 2-1 by the Algerian Desert Foxes.
Peseiro is already anticipating the eagerly awaited match in which his team will face off against players like Cristiano Ronaldo, Bruno Fernandes, Diogo Jota, and others.
“I am happy to play against Portugal. It is my country, "he told NFF TV.
“We will do a good match.
“I hope the players who are injured recover (in time for this match).
“I will choose the best players, but I hope there are no major injuries in the team.”
The Super Eagles have won two and lost three in five outings under the former Venezuela and Saudi Arabia gaffer.
