Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag is willing to sell at least six of his players before the summer transfer window shuts to fund a £30 million move for Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat.
Man United have already bolstered Ten Hag’s squad this summer with the signings of midfielder Mason Mount from Chelsea and goalkeeper Andre Onana from Inter Milan.
The Old Trafford club is also closing in on a deal for Atalanta attacker Rasmus Hojlund, but Ten Hag is still interested in bringing a new midfielder to the Red Devils.
Man United were linked with a move for Declan Rice before their Premier League rival Arsenal signed him from West Ham.
But Ten Hag is said to be an admirer of Amrabat, having worked with the Moroccan international during their time at Utrecht in the past.
However, according to The Guardian, Manchester United’s move for Amrabat is dependent on player sales, with Ten Hag ready to sanction the departures of the likes of Donny van de Beek, Harry Maguire, Dean Henderson, Scott McTominay, Anthony Martial, and Fred.
