Erik ten Hag, manager of Manchester United, has informed the board that he requires additional attack alternatives.
He has urged the club's administrators to bring in another forward before the window shuts.
Ten Hag has been associated with Antony, an Ajax player, and it is rumored that Junior Pedroso, the player's agent, was in Manchester on Thursday for negotiations.
Ten Hag responded, "I think it's crucial if you want to gain success. The season is incredibly lengthy, therefore I think signing another forward is important."
That is one explanation, along with the quantity of games. You require additional offensive alternatives. However, there is still time for us to complete it.
“We signed (Christian) Eriksen for the midfield. We are really happy with that. I am really happy with the performance of the midfield and offense at this moment.
But I also know this season, a lot of games, a World Cup, so we need more options.
“We have a good team, but we need a good squad to get the right results at the end of the season.”
