Cristiano Ronaldo, a forward for Manchester United, might move to Chelsea before this summer's transfer window closes on Thursday.
This claim was made by Sky Sports News chief reporter, Kaveh Solhekol, today.
According to Solhekol, the Blues will offer Ronaldo a one-year deal with the option of a further year.
One source is telling me that there is still a chance that something might happen with Chelsea. If they were to take him, they would offer him a one-year deal with the option for another year.
I’ve been told if that were to happen, Chelsea would pay a transfer fee to Man Utd as well, and also that it might help Man Utd from a Financial Fair Play point of view, as Chelsea would take Ronaldo’s considerable wages off their books.
“I’m not saying he is going to Chelsea, but the window is open, it’s something we’ve spoken about in the past,” Solhekol said on The Transfer Show.
