William Troost-Ekong is in a buoyant mood ahead of his move to the Greek Super League club, PAOK Salonica.

The Nigerian international is already in Thessaloniki to undergo his medicals.

Watford and PAOK have agreed on the terms of the transfer, which is worth €1 million.

The center-back is full of excitement as he waits for all the necessary procedures to be sorted out.

“I hope all the procedures will be finished quickly, and I will go to Holland as soon as possible,” Troost-Ekong told Gazzetta.it.
“Diego Biseswar called me, and he only said good things about the team; he had been here for eight years, and he was very happy. He told me to come to PAOK.”

The 29-year-old joined Watford from Udinese in 2020. He scored twice in 64 league appearances for the club.
