It is another historic feat for African football as the Morocco team become the first African team to reach the semi final stage of the FIFA world cup.



The resilient team beat Portugal one nil today to set the record.

Only three African countries have reached the quarter final since inception but Morocco become the first team to reach the semi final.

Morocco will be playing the winner between England and France next Wednesday.
