In a sad development, Ibrahim Lamorde, the former chairman of Nigeria’s Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), has passed away at the age of 61.
Lamorde reportedly died on Sunday morning in Egypt, where he had traveled to seek medical treatment.
Lamorde served as the third executive chairman of the EFCC, contributing significantly to the fight against corruption in Nigeria.
