In a somber announcement, Chief Rob Ezeife, speaking on behalf of the Ezeife family, shared the news of the passing of the former governor of Anambra State, Dr.



Chukwuemeka Ezeife. The distinguished statesman breathed his last at the Federal Medical Centre in Abuja, as revealed in the statement released yesterday.

Dr. Ezeife served as the governor of Anambra State from January 1992 to November 1993, leaving a lasting impact on the region. The official statement from Chief Rob Ezeife highlighted the remarkable journey of the departed, referring to him as "Okwadike" and acknowledging his roles as a former Federal Permanent Secretary, a Political Adviser to the President, and a Presidential aspirant.

The statement expressed the family's deep sorrow, stating, "On behalf of the Ezeife Dynasty of Igbo-Ukwu, I wish to announce the promotion to glory of our most distinguished son." The sad event occurred at 6 pm at the Federal Medical Centre in Abuja.

As the community mourns the loss of this influential figure, the announcement assured that more details about Dr. Chukwuemeka Ezeife's life and the arrangements for his state burial will be disclosed in the coming days, allowing the public to pay their respects and honor his legacy.
