In a shocking turn of events, suspected armed bandits have kidnapped at least four students from Paris Quarters, located behind the Federal University, Dutsinma, in Katsina State.
According to counter-insurgency expert Zagazola Makama, who shared the news on his X handle, the attack took place around 2:20 a.m. on Sunday. Reports indicate that a large group of assailants silently stormed the area, abducting four individuals before security forces could intervene.
The kidnapped students have been identified as Wali Kayode, Fahad Muhammad, and Emmanuel (surname unknown), while the identity of the fourth victim remains undisclosed.
Security operatives swiftly responded to a distress call, but by the time they arrived, the attackers had already escaped with their captives. Authorities have since launched an urgent manhunt to track down the kidnappers and ensure the safe return of the victims.
