Bayern Munich has identified Tottenham’s Harry Kane as a replacement for wantaway striker, Robert Lewandowski.
The 33-year-old Lewandowski has told the club he wants to leave for Barcelona this summer and the Bundesliga giants are now beginning to plan for his likely exit.
And German outlet Kicker reports that the move to make Kane the replacement for Lewandowski is ‘conceivable’.
The report added that the German giants are looking to sign a striker ‘who has already demonstrated the requirement to play at the top level’ and not a player who will ‘grow into the role’ of leading the line for the German giants.
However, a deal to lure Kane out of Tottenham could be difficult following Spurs qualification for the Champions League.
Bayern has already proven their pulling power this summer by luring Sadio Mane away from Liverpool.
