On Saturday, October 28, the 2023–24 Nigerian National League (NNL) will begin play.

According to The Daily Post, the new season will be broadcast in a condensed form.

At the ongoing annual general meeting in Jos, Plateau State, the NNL board decided on the date.

The four groups (Southern and Northern Conferences) will be made up of the teams.

The NNL will feature 40 teams, with 19 from the Northern Conference and 21 from the Southern Conference.

It should be remembered that the 2022–23 NPFL season was also conducted in a condensed manner.

Last year, Heartland won the NNL championship.
