In typical fashion, top-flight clubs in England scrambled around on transfer deadline day to beef up their squads.



Manchester City were able to complete deals for Matheus Nunes, while Liverpool signed Ryan Gravenberch from Bayern Munich.

Super Eagles player Alex Iwobi swapped Everton for Fulham, and Cole Palmer joined Chelsea from Manchester City.

Both Sofyan Amrabat and Sergio Reguilon sealed loan moves to Manchester United.
