Abdullahi Maiwada, the NCS spokesperson, disclosed this somber news exclusively to Naijacrawl during a phone interview on Monday.

The circumstances surrounding Magaji's demise remain unclear, with the NCS awaiting the results of the ongoing investigation by the Nigeria Police Command in Kano.

Maiwada emphasized that whether Magaji's death was self-inflicted or a result of foul play is yet to be determined. "There is an officer confirmed dead in his premises. Whether he killed himself or was assassinated, we do not know yet. Let us wait for the Police investigation," he conveyed to Naijacrawl.
