One of the spokespersons for Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party's (PDP) presidential candidate, Senator Dino Melaye, has prayed to God to use the holy month of Ramadan to right the wrongs committed by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Thursday, Melaye posted a message on his Twitter account that included his prayer.

Recall that the month of Ramadan, which according to Islamic teaching is a holy month, began for Muslims on Wednesday.

Melaye's principal, Atiku, reportedly filed a lawsuit at the presidential election petition tribunal contesting the INEC's designation of Bola Tinubu of the APC as the winner. This was according to Naijacrawl.

Atiku is requesting that the court overturn Tinubu's designation as the winner of the February 25 presidential election because he felt the vote was rigged against him.

Melaye is currently using the holy month of Ramadan to pray to God for forgiveness for the sins committed by the APC and the election commission.

He wrote, “Happy Ramadan. Oh God!! use this holy period to right the wrongs of INEC and APC, we pray thee oh Lord. Amen.”
