The federal government of Nigeria are fulfilling their promise of starting and completing the second Niger bridge.
The project was commissioned some months ago while the construction works started.
So far, the work is currently at 44.6% completion. The 1.2km sand filling of the road at the asaba end has reached the height of 2.2m out of the expected 5m. At the Onitsha end, the workers has done enough of sand filling of embarkments thereby completing 44.6% of the total construction works.
