On Monday, June 13, three people are said to have collapsed at Eagle Square during the military parade commemorating Democracy Day.
According to The Nation, those who passed out during the procession were personnel from various military groups who had been on their feet for hours prior to the start of the event.
The colorful procession, which was presided over by President Muhammadu Buhari, was getting underway when a ruckus erupted behind one of the parties, with security and medical staff hurrying to take individuals who had collapsed for immediate medical assistance.
They were transported to the medical tents set up in the square, where doctors were able to successfully resuscitate them.
