The big six clubs are likely keeping a close eye on the Ivory Coast international's situation as the summer transfer window draws to a close because he only has one year left on his Selhurst Park contract.

Zaha has been a joy to watch during his time with Palace, and it's surprising he's still there in some ways considering how many top teams in Europe or big six sides would start him.

Roma have expressed the most overt interest in signing Zaha this summer, according to Fabrizio Romano, writing in his exclusive column for CaughtOffside on Substack. However, they later turned their attention to signing Paulo Dybala.

Romano is unsure of the Chelsea connections but believes Zaha will be available for a reasonable price of between £25 and £30 million.

In my opinion, the signing of Zaha would be a great opportunity for all the top clubs, but the reality is that so far there have been no advanced negotiations yet. The only club that has made a proposal to Crystal Palace so far is AS Roma, but then they invested in Paulo Dybala, so the deal went on stand-by.

I believe Zaha may be available for around £25-30m – a great price for a big talent who is in the final year of his contract at Selhurst Park.
