Darren Bent, a former Tottenham Hotspur player, believes Chelsea will overcome Real Madrid and go to the Champions League semi-finals on Tuesday.
Chelsea travel to Spain for the rematch after losing 3-1 at home last Wednesday.
Thomas Tuchel, the Blues' manager, lamented his errors in the defeat to the LaLiga heavyweights, which saw veteran Frenchman Karim Benzema score a hat-trick.
While conceding it was a tactical "mistake," the German coach has written out Chelsea's hopes of progressing to the next round.
But Bent, a former England striker, believes strongly that Thomas Tuchel’s men can pull off a surprise at the Santiago Bernabeu, citing 2012 when a ten-man Chelsea overturned a worse result against Barcelona.
“I think #CFC is more than capable of getting something out of this game,” he told talkSPORT.
“I’m not writing Chelsea off! They managed to get a result against Barcelona with 10 men in 2012. They can get something.
