Former Sky Sports presenter Richard Keys has claimed Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp will leave the club if they fail in the Champions League this season.
Liverpool is currently in 10th place after the first 20 games in the Premier League.
Having finished second with 92 points last season, losing out to Manchester City by a single point, the Reds were again expected to be a title contender.
But injuries and a loss of form have seen them endure a miserable campaign.
“My guess is Klopp will walk." Not now—but if they’re knocked out of the CL (Champions League) by Real Madrid.
“I think he’ll be gone before the start of next season. Liverpool is way off. a shadow of what they once were—and it’s no good blaming FSG (Fenway Sports Group). "The downfall is Klopp’s responsibility,” Keys wrote on his website.
