Former Manchester City defender Micah Richards has chosen Kylian Mbappe of Paris Saint-Germain over Erling Haaland as his top choice.

For their respective clubs on Wednesday in the Champions League, Mbappe and Haaland both scored.

Which of the strikers would you choose? was a question that Richards answered during his CBS Sports postgame coverage.

Richards said, “What are we talking about? all-round game?

“I would still take Mbappe. Because I love Mbappe, I love the way he moves.

Suddenly, fellow pundit Jamie Carragher jumped in, looking to create mischief.

Carragher smugly asked, “So you don’t like Manchester City’s Erling Haaland? "

“I didn’t say that,” Richards refuted. “I just said I prefer Mbappe.”
