Nantes manager, Antoine Kombouare, shared his disappointment after Moses Simon got injured.
Sadly, Simon won't play for the rest of the season due to an ankle fracture from Nigeria's match against Mali. He had surgery and will be out for about three months.
The 28-year-old is crucial for Nantes, especially as they battle relegation in Ligue 1. Kombouare admitted Simon's absence is a big setback for the team, saying, "We are sad for him because he wanted to help the team. Now we have to manage without him. It's a big blow."
Simon has been impressive this season, scoring three goals and making six assists in 22 league games for Nantes.
