Montpellier forward Jerome Akor has been included in the Ligue 1 Team of the Week, the Daily Post reports.

The former Flying Eagles forward made a flying debut, netting a brace in Montpellier’s 2-2 draw against Le Havre on Sunday.

The 23-year-old drew Montpelier level in the 58th minute before handing the hosts the lead for the first time in the game on the hour mark.

La Havre scored a late equalizer to earn a share of the spoils.

Akor recently transferred to Montpellier from the Norwegian club, Lillestrom.

He scored 15 goals in 15 league appearances for Lillestrom before making the switch.
