The CAF Confederation Cup draw for Rivers United is expected to be challenging, according to Naijacrawl.

On Friday in Johannesburg, South Africa, the official draw for the second-tier club competition of the CAF will take place.

Nigerian time is 2 p.m., and the draw ceremony will begin then.

The draw for the CAF Champions League will come next.

North African powerhouses Club Africain of Tunisia, RS Berkane of Morocco, Zamalek of Egypt, and USM of Algeria could be paired with Rivers United.

In the previous season's competition, Stanley Eguma advanced to the quarterfinal round before being defeated by Tanzania's Young Africans.

The Port Harcourt team hopes to make history by becoming the first Nigerian club to win the event.
