Following the return of La Liga, Inaki Williams and his younger brother Nico Williams put their names on the scoreboard as Athletic Bilbao thrashed UD Almeria.

Three Athletic Club players, including the brothers, were on international duty over the break. Inaki represented Ghana, and Nico played for Spain.

At the San Memes, Almeria was completely destroyed. Inaki scored first after receiving a cross from Nico Williams.

At the hour mark, Nico Williams scored to make it 3-0 in favor of the home team. Oihan Sanchet's goal came in between the goals by the brothers, and Mikel Vesga added the final touch from the penalty spot.

The victory sends Athletic Bilbao third in the La Liga table, the same points as Barcelona with the Catalans having a game in hand.

Inaki Williams made his Ghana debut against Brazil while Nico featured for the first time for Spain against Switzerland.
