After scoring in the Partenopei's 2-0 victory over Sassuolo at the MAPEI Stadium, Victor Osimhen made history by becoming the first Napoli player to score in seven straight Serie A games.
In 33 minutes, the Nigerian international scored his team's second goal of the contest.
Osimhen has now contributed three assists and 18 goals to Luciano Spalletti's team in 19 league games this year.
The forward's 100th career goal came with the breathtaking strike.
With 22 appearances for the Super Eagles, Osimhen has already scored 15 goals, giving him a total of 85 goals for his various European clubs.
In Serie A, he currently ranks second among African top scorers, trailing only George Weah, a former star for AC Milan.
In 70 Serie A appearances for Napoli, the 23-year-old has scored 42 goals.
Weah scored 46 goals in 114 matches for AC Milan.
