Cyriel Dessers has expressed excitement after opening his goal account for Serie A club Cremonese.

Dessers moved to Cremonese from Belgian Pro League outfit KRC Genk this summer.

The Nigeria international had to wait for his ninth appearance before registering his first goal for the club.

The goal was nothing but a consolation as Cremonese went down to a 4-1 defeat against Napoli at home on Sunday night.

The 27-year-old nevertheless took to social media to celebrate the goal

“Our first goal in Serie A was scored under our curve, which was a great emotion. We will continue to grow, to the next level! Force Cremo, "Dessers wrote on his Twitter handle.
