Olubankole Wellington, a Nigerian musician, actor, and politician, has finally spoken out about his Wizkid deal.
He said in an interview with Bounce TV that Wizkid's contract was for five albums, but he only delivered two of them.
At the time, it was a five-album deal, and he'd only done two. The album "Superstar" and the song "AYO" were released. "He owes EME three albums," he stated.
Banky W also claimed that he didn't want the case to drag on for too long, which is one of the reasons he let Wizkid go despite the fact that he had broken the contract.
He went on to say that it was clear that Wizkid wanted to leave, so he couldn't compel him to stay and create enmity or resentment.
This comes 9 years after Wizkid left Banky W’s record label. According to Wizkid, he left with zero naira and his friends and manager can attest to this.
