The incident has been confirmed by the Police PRO of the state Mr Typopev Mathias, the Police's spokesman revealed that the assailants stormed the village on Friday evening, and during the attack, three villagers lost their lives.

However, deputy superintendent of police in the state has said that the security in the area has been tightened because more police's personnel have been deployed to the area to restore order and peace, and the spokesman affirmed that the police force will be working relentlessly by making sure that further breakdown of law and order in the area is forestalled.
