According to reports, the male hostel of the Abia state university uturu in Abia state was on fire through out the evening hours of yesterday. According to an eye witness, the cause of the fire outbreak is yet to be ascertained but the major problem faced was that there was no fire fighters around and no water available to put out the fire. People were watching while the students belongings burned in the inferno. As at the time of this report, there is no news yet from the school management or the Abia state government concerning the incident.
